Donald Glover: Solo is ‘A Lot More Fun’ Than Other Star Wars Movies
Donald Glover compares Solo: A Star Wars Story to other films in the iconic space opera franchise, saying that it’s going to be “a lot more fun.” Playing the younger version of Lando Calrissian in the Ron Howard project, Glover will star opposite up and coming actor Alden Ehrenreich, who has the enormous task of portraying a younger Han Solo. Story details are still tightly under wraps, but the film is expected to tackle Han’s early days in the smuggling business. Woody Harrelson and Emilia Clarke also join the cast as Beckett and Qi’ra, respectively. Marketing for Solo has finally kicked off after several months of waiting. On top of a teaser and a trailer, tie-in pieces of merchandise and official posters have also started coming out. This also means that stars of the film can talk a little more about it, compared to their usual clipped answers when questioned about the film before promotion began.
